tROUBLESHOOTING CHART
PROBLEM
Does not start
Poor performance
Poor cut-uneven

loose blade
Bent motor motorshaft
House circuit breaker trips
out or blows fuse
CORRECTION
Check extension cord attach-
ment at both mower and outlet
ends.
Check breaker or fuse.
Unplug power cord, turn mower
on its side and check blade.
Make sure it is free to rotate.
Also check for clogging.
Raise mower cutting height to
cut 1/3 of grass length.
Walk at a slower pace
Reduce cutting width if needed.
Unplug power cord, check deck
for clogging, check blade for
sharpness.
Unplug power cord.
Replace blade. Tighten blade
bolt.
Unplug power cord and clean
underside of mower
housing.
Unplug power cord.
Replace blade. Tighten blade
bolt.
Contact an authorized service
center.
Foreign material is block-
ing blade rotation
Hard to push Grass is too high or wheel Raise cutting height.
