Prepare your unit for storage at the end
of the season or if it will not be used for
30 days or more.
WARNING:
• Allow motor to cool, then secure the
unit before storing or transporting.
• Store chain saw and extension cord
in a well ventilated area
• Store chain saw with all guards in
place and position chain saw so that
any sharp object cannot accidentally
cause injury.
• Store chain saw unplugged, well out
of the reach of children.
EXTERNAL SURFACES
If your chain saw is to be stored for a
period of time, clean it thoroughly
before storage. Store in a clean dry
area.
• Lightly oil external metal surfaces
and guide bar.
• Oil the chain and wrap it in heavy
paper or cloth.
To prevent chain oil seepage during
storage, store the saw hung on a hook
or nail through the hole in the bar.
