Congratulations on purchasing a Craftsman Smart Lawn Connect Kit. The Craftsman Smart Lawn Connect Plug

will easily plug in to the back side of your Craftsman Rider’s Ignition Switch located on the dashboard.

Installation Guide:

1 Note the location of the Ignition Switch (ON/START/OFF switch) on your dash. Depending on your product

model, the switch will look like X or Y below. Note location of retainer clips for Step 3B below.

2 Open the hood of your Craftsman Rider and locate the Wire Harness Connector that is attached to the

back side of the Ignition Switch (refer to illustration below).

3 There are two options for disconnecting the Wire Harness Connector from the back of the Ignition Switch:

A Leave Ignition Switch in place and unplug Wire Harness Connector directly from the underside of the

dash (see illustration above).
